Love Your Home: Bunny Mellon
Bunny Mellon and her husband owned many houses but the most notable were the house in Virginia and Antigua. Her houses give a sense of comfort and look effortless. It makes sense that her most known quote was, “nothing should be noticed.” Her home was a collection of things that have been gathered over time. Bunny and her husband were avid art collectors and the paintings were part of their life and homes, never too precious. She filled her houses with baskets, topiaries, painted floors and furnitures and simple fabrics. But none of us can forget her collection of botanical porcelain - cabbages, asparagus, lettuce and radishes just to name a few.
We have chosen a few favourites from our Spring and All collection, inspired by Bunny Mellon alongside our selection of images from her beautiful estates.
